A number of areas in the US set weather related records in a thirty day period in the spring of 2011. Tuscaloosa was hard hit by a massive EF4 tornado in the great outbreak on April 28th spawning over 300 tornados and more than 300 deaths over a seven state area.

Then the might Mississippi River left it's banks destroying everything in it's path from Northern Missouri, along Memphis shorelines, and on down to the gulf.

Joplin was hit the hardist with a EF5 Tornado killing over 140 people in the city limits.

I was at each of these coveing the news for network television and brought along my camera to show you some images that you might not have seen on Tv.
